This morning as I listened to my Pastor talk about Thanksgiving Day and what we should really be celebrating, it made me stop to think about how long it had been since I really thought about this wonderful Country. I was so caught up in the election and how damaged the country would be post Obama, I forgot that the worst day in this country is better than the best day anywhere else. God has so richly blessed us here and of course we aren't nearly as grateful as we should be. This wonderful country has always bounced back because of the people that make it up. I fear though that the schools today are not teaching all that is good about America but all the things we have done wrong the last 200+ years. Of course we have made mistakes but how many people's lives have been saved by our brave fighting men and women over the many years past.
I for one would like to say to this great land, "God Bless America and always keep your watchful eye on us, and God Bless our brave soldiers."
